Alfredo Morelos to Bayern – latest

Stunning reports in Germany claim Bayern Munich are looking at Alfredo Morelos as a long-term replacement for aging Robert Lewandowski.

Morelos, who returned to form with a bang at Pittodrie, has made no secret of course of his desire to leave, even if those quotes have completely ceased in the past few months, and there’s little doubt the Colombia striker would be interested in such a move should it be serious.

Unsellable? No – his 2020 unfortunately demonstrated that while the lad is a crazy good striker on his game, we can’t rely on him week-in-week-out, and his heart isn’t at Ibrox.

He wants the PL ultimately but we’re pretty sure Bayern would be a decent alternative…

Price?

If the Bavaria giants do want him, his base value has been famously set at £20M, but we’d expect a bit more from such a rich team, especially given they’d be replacing one of the world’s top three strikers with him.

High expectations.

More as we get it on this developing story…
