Two Rangers players ‘test positive’….

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - OCTOBER 04: James Tavernier of Rangers celebrates scoring the opening goal with Ryan Kent during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Ross County at Ibrox Stadium on October 04, 2020 in Glasgow, Scotland. Sporting stadiums around the UK remain under strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in games being played behind closed doors.

The internet and social media today went into meltdown after James Tavernier and Ryan Kent tested positive. For Battle Fever.

After a few misunderstandings to say the least about what this was all about, including our good friend cv, it emerged that SSN made a little half joke about Saturday’s over two of Rangers big performers testing positive for something other than ‘little Coroni’, in this case Battle Fever.

And they’re bang on – Rangers are desperate to go to Parkhead and mop up big time, indeed for the second time in a row, after last season got cancelled due to the crisis.

And that inspires a tonne of Battle Fever, which is the kind of fever our club definitely has and wants to have going into the weekend.

Of course a few souls thought the diagnosis was for something else, which would naturally rule both players out of the derby, but unlike many, especially over the city, our players have followed protocol to the letter so far and would be unlikely to get caught out.

No, We’ve Got the Battle Fever On and that’s a terminal diagnosis.
