Injury stunner leaves key Rangers man out for up to a month

Rangers fans have been hit with a hammer blow after it was confirmed star man Ryan Jack is set to miss up to a month with a reoccurrence of his ongoing calf injury.

The midfield dynamo, whose form lately may be related to said injury, notably picked up a knock on a recent international break due to being effectively overtrained, and it may have resurfaced again, maybe as a result of Dubai, with the 27-year old potentially missing the majority of February.

Optimistic reports have his absence at a minimum of two weeks, but this injury is indefinite and it is hard to gauge exactly how long a long-term ongoing injury of this nature can rule a player out for, but it’s more likely to be around four weeks.

Rangers are already missing a number of key men, and this latest blow only pressures Steven Gerrard into late transfer action this closing window.
