Ojo and Aribo benched – predicted Rangers XI to face Aberdeen

With one eye on Sunday’s final, Steven Gerrard has an important selection to make tonight.

Ibrox Noise takes you through our predicted XI to face the Dons at Pittodrie:

Goals
… obvious.

Defence: unchanged

Midfield:

We think Davis will be back in, with Kamara ahead of him and Jack completing the trio.

Attack:

Kent left Arfield right and Defoe central.

Analysis:

Defence has been doing well, even if some members of it aren’t as popular as others. It’s not going to change any time soon.

Midfield has also been mostly functioning well, and Davis’ composure in the middle of the park will be so welcome in a cauldron like this one – Kamara’s hard work and Jack’s explosive intensity will both be key.

Attack will need Arfield’s experience, Kent’s pace and trickery while Defoe is known to have a good record at Pittodrie and Stevie is likely to want to save Morelos for Sunday.

So, your Ibrox Noise XI:

McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic; Davis, Kamara, Jack; Arfield, Defoe, Kent

Bring us home 3 points lads.
