Rangers receive bonus thousands £££ – confirmed

After their stunning triumph against Italian giants Roma, Rangers’ kids have just netted the club a cool £60,000 ($75,000) prize money for landing the prestigious Alkass trophy.

The stellar performance, which saw a brilliantly open match of football, great goals and two red cards, was decided by a tense penalty shoot out which went into sudden death.

And once the final penalty went in, following a stunning penalty save from Budinauckas to deny Roma a final chance, the Bears went ballistic and lifted the trophy amidst much celebration and have earned the club a very nice bonus chunk of cash which will help within the Rangers Youth Development Company to continue to develop this aspiring group of lads to becoming the men they’re destined to be.

It’s been a long time since Rangers won a trophy against this calibre of opponent, but they’ve earned this moment, regardless of what level it was at, and in Nathan Young-Coombes and Kai Kennedy especially, may well have stars of the future.

Well done to the whole squad and especially to coach David McCallum who’s done a superb job with his charges.
