Life after Rodgers – 55 or not? Rangers fans vote to reveal the majority view…

Unless you live under a rock, you’ll be well aware Celtic lost Brendan Rodgers to Leicester yesterday, with Neil Lennon returning to Parkhead as interim manager.

However, the bigger picture is the effect this dramatic change may have on the title race, which is exactly what the final 11 matches could present us thanks to the developments in the east end.

It was expected to be a predictable Celtic title again, but Rodgers’ departure has thrown a colossal spanner in the works and all bets are now off.

Hence, Ibrox Noise ran a poll to see what percentage of our support believes this change could be a big factor in a sensational turnaround in Rangers winning the league, and in some very interesting numbers, 57% thought Steven Gerrard’s men could now win the league, compared with 43% who felt the switch in boss at Celtic Park won’t affect anything.

It’s not an overwhelming majority by any means but it’s a strong enough number to suggest there’s real belief now in a sensational end to this season.

We will see how it pans out.
