This brilliant stat gives Rangers an incredible chance tomorrow

With Rangers facing Celtic tomorrow in the big midday showdown at Ibrox, supporters on both sides are wondering just what kind of encounter they’ll get this time.

Rangers haven’t won against Celtic in the SPL in our last 10 attempts, and it doesn’t take a genius to point out that this is the longest spell of non-wins for either side in the fixture in its history.

Plus Celtic have won the past four times they visited Ibrox since the famous 3-2 win in 2012. So it could be argued history favours Brendan Rodgers’ side.

However, since losing 3-2 in the Spring Celtic, Rangers have only lost eight goals at Ibrox in the league, and never more than a single one in any match. The defence has been pretty decent in the league at home and we hope that continues.

Moreover, the biggest good news is that Celtic have already lost as many away matches this campaign (3 of 10) as they did the entire Brendan Rodgers tenure until this season (3 of 38), so they’re further vulnerable for sure under the former Liverpool boss.

If there is a time for Rangers to finally break the Old Firm hoodoo it’s tomorrow – Rangers’ form is not stunning but Celtic are extremely exposed right now – possibly no Tierney, and definitely no Rogic as well to add into the mix.

Rangers can do it.
