Stunning five-player January exodus looming at Ibrox?

In a quite extraordinary day at Ibrox, in the lead up to tonight’s Rapid Vienna crunch, it has broken dramatically that up to five players are already being touted as January departures.

Ibrox Noise will take you through what we know about each of them:

Ovie Ejaria:

The Liverpool loanee has gone a bit ape on social media, with some very telling actions indicating his future lies elsewhere, but his axing from the Europa League squad tonight as well as bench place against Dundee suggests his time may be running out at Ibrox anyway.

Joe Worrall:

Never claimed he wanted to stay anyway, quite the opposite in fact, and has been pretty poor domestically recently, albeit not so bad in Europe. Michael Dawson’s injury at Forest has laid the England cap out for up to two months, and Aitor Karanka is said to be looking at trying to bring Worrall back south to the City Ground as a result. That would probably suit everyone.

Ryan Kent:

Out injured again, his form has tailed off too, and he’s said to be a target for Burnley among others – added to this rumours his loan at Ibrox actually ends next month and he may just be a very unexpected exit.

Borna Barisic:

Turkish media has linked the Croatian with a switch to Besiktas. It’s an odd one, but injury disaster aside, he’s not been great in terms of performances at Ibrox when he has been fit, and if the rich Turkish giants were to bid big enough, we suspect the club would listen to good offers for him.

Umar Sadiq:

This one is done. He’s gone. It just didn’t work.

We’re sure there’ll be more coming thick and fast in the impending weeks.
