Could 31 cap Colombian international come to Ibrox?

With the January window fast upon
us, Steven Gerrard is actively seeking new recruits in some key positions.
While we posited Eros Grezda for striker, nevertheless Rangers still only have one truly reliable recognised hitman
up top in the form of Alfredo Morelos, with Kyle Lafferty’s importance unclear
and his use fleeting.
It is evident another reliable
body is needed in that area, and a 30+ cap Colombia international could not
only fit the bill, but help get even more out of Alfredo Morelos.
Dayro Moreno is currently a free
agent, but his career record is extremely impressive – almost one in two goals over
the course of a 15-year senior career, and aged 33, he has a tonne of
experience to help those around him.
His career has mostly been in
South America but he had a reasonable spell in Europe with Steau as well, and
he’s widely regarded as a reliable goalscorer with a usual market value of
around £2M.
Currently, as said, he’s a free
agent – but it’s that connection with Alfredo Morelos which could help pave the
way to a possible switch to Rangers.
If the wage agreed can be
suitable, could Rangers do worse than a 130-goal Colombian international with
over 30 caps to his name?
Yes, yes we could.
