Injury news for Macedonia – four key absences

With tomorrow night’s visit to the Phillips II stadium in Macedonia imminent, Rangers have a number of continuing and fresh absentees for manager Steven Gerrard to be (slightly) concerned about.

Ibrox Noise takes you through the key misses for tomorrow night:

Jordan Rossiter:

Injured pre-season, the ‘stand out’ during summer got an untimely knock on his calf and is expected to spend another month out. He just cannot seem to get a break.

Lee Wallace:

Still injured, and still in dispute with the board, Wallace is out for the foreseeable future.

Graham Dorrans:

Gerrard has confirmed around a month at least before Dorrans is available once more. Quite honestly we lose track of this guy’s injuries so we’ve no idea what this absence is for again.

Scott Arfield:

Hauled off around 70 minutes in the first leg, the Canadian international didn’t travel to mainland Europe and we as yet have no prognosis as to the nature or time frame. In truth, his replacement Ovie Ejaria impressed far more so this is an absence we can probably cope with.

Otherwise the full squad is present and accounted for, and should be available for the second half of the tie.
