It would safe to say Steve Clarke has made a pretty incredible start to life in the SPL. The 54-year old has suffered just three losses, including one on penalties, since joining Rugby Park last October, and without any question would be in the mix for the title had the appointment been made before the season started.

His impact on Kilmarnock has been one of the most astonishing SPL stories of recent times, and that performance has certainly not gone unnoticed.

Rangers’ manager Graeme Murty has been sailing on the goodwill of a very good start to his semi-permanent appointment, but the results of the past 10 days have dented his case immensely and a great number of fans are completely in favour of bringing the ex-West Brom boss in instead.
