Andy Murdoch goes out on loan

As brought to you exclusively by Ibroxnoise.co.uk here and here, Rangers have finally let Andy Murdoch go out on loan to Cowdenbeath.

The 20-year old was immediately demoted by Ibrox boss Mark Warburton to Ian Durrant’s unders when the new manager took charge, and with deadline day upon us the decision has finally been agreed with the Blue Brazil to allow the defensive midfield anchor get some first-team football.

Many fans were puzzled by his demotion to the unders, but given 8 wins from 8 and stellar displays all round, those questions are being reduced given the boss’s impeccable judgement to date.

With Cowdenbeath’s former manager being a former Rangers player in Jimmy Nicholl, relations with that Club were especially productive previously and the current boss Colin Nish will be delighted to have a player of the quality of Murdoch on his books to call upon, even if only for a season at the most. Early information suggests the loan is till January.
