Report: “Four more” signings to be made by Rangers

With Rob Kiernan, Danny Wilson, Wes
Foderingham, Andy Halliday and Jordan Thompson confirmed as Mark
Warburton’s summer transfer work so far, the Rangers gaffer has admitted there
are four more targets in mind to complete the squad.
Warburton confessed when he
joined that he was looking at roughly 10 signings, and with five confirmed,
four more appears to be the magic number the new manager is focused on to
finalise his preparations for the new season.

He said:
“We’re making good progress. There’s
hopefully only two or three or four more that we’re looking at to target and
secure in the coming days.”
He reiterated the lean squad he
wants of around 24, and with a group sizing around 14 when he joined, that has
been trimmed and reshaped to 16, with around four more to arrive and Murray Park
graduates like Sinnamon, Hardie and Walsh to be added, the squad appears to be
nearing completion.
The key question is getting the
right four signings to fill up the trouble areas of right back, central
midfield and attack.
