English Championship sides step up interest in Law

As broken to you earlier this year here, press reports today have finally caught up and confirmed the
interest in Nicky Law from Huddersfield.
Early claims suggest the English
Championship outfit are readying a £400,000 bid, £100,000 less than previously
speculated, mostly likely in light of his disappointing overall season not to
mention rather passive displays in the critical playoff matches.

He is not a player held in
especially high regard, as yesterday’s poll on this site would testify, with a
mere 5% of the vote wishing to retain his services at Ibrox, which suggests he
is a player fans would be really rather pleased to see the back of.
In truth he has been an
underwhelming signature, particularly given what was expected of him, and came
in especially for recent ridicule during the mass brawl at Fir Park
where he appeared to cower away from the entire confrontation rather than
defend any team mates.
Nevertheless, expect Huddersfield
to be far from the last side interested in him, with Leeds, Birmingham,
Reading and Brighton
still thought to be keen on securing his services.
