Mohsni in talks with Bundesliga giants

After no significant outcome
following talks with ES Tunis, Bilel Mohsni today was negotiating with German
cracks SC Freiburg with discussions at an ‘advanced stage’.
Mohsni, 27, opened negotiations
with the Bundesliga outfit yesterday, amidst controversy over his police
altercation at Tynecastle after being warned by Edinburgh’s constabulary for provoking Hearts
fans.

Freiburg, currently 16th in the
premier German league, would take the Tunisian on a free transfer given he is
out of contract next season, and it is no secret that Mohsni divides Rangers
fans and would leap at the chance of an escape route to the top tier in
Germany.
He has been annoyed at not being
a first choice under McCall, and is understood not to be in the club’s plans
for next season regardless.
Reports suggest negotiations
could be concluded as early as Friday, leaving him free to sit out his deal in
Govan till June, before making the move to the continent.
