Rangers are long aware that Mikey Moore is not returning to Ibrox. Unless of course the club stump up in considerable excess of £20M.
Tottenham Hotspur are not interested in loaning him back to Ibrox, with Roberto De Zerbi unimpressed with the standard in Scotland.
He hopes to loan the lad out to a higher level of league next season.
As such, Rangers have earmarked a former Premier League and Ligue 1 winger to replace Moore.
Exclusively from Mark Hendry, Rangers have targeted Leicester City’s Stephy Mavididi. He’s an English left winger with a current market value around the £5M-£6M mark. He was previous worth around £12M in his Premier League days with Leicester.
His numbers from various competitions make interesting viewing.

Premier League it’s 5 goals and assists in 30. In Ligue 1 for both Montpellier and Dijon it’s 32 in 115.
At Championship it’s 23 in 98.
So it is definitely not bad numbers, and it’s a position Rangers have no one currently in.
So enter Mavididi, who will set back the club anything up to £7M including addons. He’s contracted for another two seasons but probably doesn’t want to ply his trade in League One.
Rangers are known to need one to two new wingers, with Gassama, McCausland and Antman not exactly setting the club on fire. That could all change but McInnes wants his own men in.
As we know, Rangers can’t sign too many till more are shipped out, but Mavidid appears to be Del’s answer to replacing Mikey Moore.
But then lots of players will be currently getting earmarked to replace a lot of others. But they need to leave Rangers first.
