While Ibrox Noise, of course, reported to you yesterday about Jahnoah Markelo, there is also the news about Amario Cozier-Duberry. Those two are simmering in the background. However, as we now know, Rangers have received and will accept a bid from Anderlecht for Oliver Antman. But Vaclav Cerny Rangers return is now on the agenda too.

Oliver Antman set for Anderlecht

Sadly, the Finnish player’s time at Rangers just did not work out. That came despite his outstanding contribution to Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie. The Finland international just did not get going at Rangers for many different, unfortunate circumstantial reasons.

Rangers have deemed that they are open to the sale and are happy to ship him out. That is on the basis of the action taken as a result. That action is the blockbuster move to actually sign Václav Černý.

Václav Černý back on the agenda

That’s right, the former Rangers man shone so well during his loan season from Wolfsburg. He is now very much back on the agenda and would cost a net fee of £3.5M.

Turkish giants Beşiktaş want £8.5M for their man. He is open to the move but also happy to stay. He did enjoy his time at Rangers, but he is happy to prove himself in Turkey as well.

However, he thoroughly enjoyed his time in Govan and is open to the move if Rangers can thrash out a deal. If not, he is also happy to stay at BeÅŸiktaÅŸ.

This shows that the man is happy to commit to Rangers. However, professionally, he is also happy to stay where he currently is.

Rangers need an alpha right winger

The sale of Oliver Antman to Anderlecht is now on the cards. Therefore, it opens up the serious, realistic possibility of Černý now making his way back to Govan as a direct replacement.

Both are right wingers and an alpha right winger is desperately what Rangers need. Rangers just do not have one at present.

Antman, as we said, has not worked out for many reasons. We will discuss that in a later piece.

However, Rangers’ interest in Václav Černý is now very strong on the radar and the move looks very much on.

We have also mentioned the other two wingers that Rangers are looking at. The Championship pair do not exactly blow Ibrox Noise away with enthusiasm.

We will see if anything happens with those two because we do need at least two wingers, not just Černý. We need somebody for the left as well.

Nevertheless, time will tell who we actually get. However, it is good to see that Černý is now genuinely back on the radar.

Rangers ready to make serious move

Rangers did, as we say, make an inquiry earlier this window and Beşiktaş quoted them a price of £8.5M. Beşiktaş basically told Rangers no, more or less.

They essentially rebuffed Rangers, with the price proving far too high. BeÅŸiktaÅŸ gave the Ibrox side little encouragement.

However, the price is now much more feasible, given the sale of Antman. Therefore, that one is now very much back on.

Rangers intend to make serious moves towards getting the former Czech international back into Govan for Vaclav Cerny Rangers return. Rangers fans would be very, very happy with that signing.
