There will be a lot of nonsense stories this summer. If we hadn’t already had enough of some of it, here’s some more.
Yes, absolute piffle from ‘Sky Sport Switzerland’ and Sacha Tavolieri claims Rangers are in for another Sturm Graz boy, this time Ryan Fosso.
This screams of agent-driven bollocks. Because we know all too well how outstandingly our previous midfield signing from the Austrians went.

Caps
Fosso has two caps for his country (Cameroon) and is already 24. This suggests if he doesn’t have more by this age, he probably isn’t cutting it.
And a £1.5M market value hints that agent YB11 (who is credited with no other clients) see some €€€€’s here in trying to get him a big move for an inflated fee.
Torino and Levante’s names have also been thrown into the mix. Naturally the usual trash clickbait sites like ******* **** are running with this one. Claiming an exclusive on how much he’ll cost.
We’re not giving them the oxygen of a click, because we know who runs sites like those.
Rangers signings
But Rangers have already signed two defensive midfielders this summer in Neil and McCrorie, and have another in Chukwuani while also negotiating over Partizan’s Vanja Dragojević. So unless we just want to have five defensive midfielders on our books for laughs and giggles this story is a non-starter.
Rangers and other clubs’ names are going to be used in this way over the summer, and there really are very few sources and sites you can trust.
Ibrox Noise will never claim a monopoly on the truth, and we will get some things wrong. We get honest information and we bring it to you. Sometimes it turns out false.
Integrity
But at least we are actual Rangers fans, and want the best for the club. The other outlets don’t give a hoot about Rangers. They are part of content farms which do the same stuff for other clubs.
But that all said, on the tiniest possibility this nonsense story is actually true, well, we’d trust Del on it either way.
Either way we don’t think Rangers are remotely interested in this Fosso lad.
