Ibrox Noise understands that at least two other unnamed sides have now made a move for Nico Raskin, and both are significant teams in two different leagues in Europe. We understand one of them is in the Premier League and the other is in Spain. However, we do not know the names of the teams that are now monitoring Nico Raskin to make a significant move this summer.
Interest grows across Europe
His standout performance against the US has led to a whole bunch of interest in his services. With it widely known he is making his departure this summer, clubs are very much in the queue to secure his signature. Consequently, as we’ve said before, big clubs are now looking at Raskin.
Rangers set for a huge sale

It is well known, certainly in Italy, that Scotland is a veritable treasure trove of quality talent that can be got for a low price. But the Raskin situation has completely changed that dynamic. No SPFL based player has ever shone at the latter stages of the World Cup in front of the sunshine in the way that Raskin has of late. His performance against the USA has alerted the big boys to his availability. Rangers will most certainly be seeking the big numbers to let him go.
Waiting for the right offer
As we’ve said before, we would not offer or conjecture a number. However, it certainly is intended to be well beyond the Scottish transfer record secured for Kieran Tierney on the other side of Glasgow. Raskin will get his big move to the big club and the big league that he wants. It is just a waiting game now to see who offers what Rangers want and when.
More developments expected
But the interest is definitely there, and Spain, or indeed England, not to mention Italy, could be the destination for Belgium’s star midfielder. More as we get it.
