Rangers are looking at a potential 9-man exit if current speculation and information all come to pass.

In terms of sales, it’s well-known Nicolas Raskin, Youssef Chermiti and Emmanuel Fernandez are attracting interest, but there’s nothing concrete aside a few offers considerably below market value.

Mohamed Diomande is another who could well bring in some interest, and Ibrox Noise reported our exclusive regarding Paris FC. They were preparing a bid for the Ivorian but again, nothing materialised, and it is also known Besiktas had a £10M bid rejected last summer.

But there’s also the ‘bomb squad’ as one red top described it.

A collection of around five players who are surplus at present and the club is open to cutting the cloth on them.

They are Ross McCausland, Danilo, Jose Cifuentes, Nedim Bajrami and Clinton Nsiala.

As Ibrox Noise reported earlier, new manager Derek McInnes will give every player a reset. But this doesn’t mean some of them are not ‘ripe for the plucking’.

The above five are not exactly first-choice fodder and in few cases were ever actually settled at Ibrox.

Nothing on any recent manager, none of the above five fit into anyone’s plans and they just didn’t work out.

McInnes will give everyone a chance. But he is also open to sales and exits of those players. Those players whose Ibrox careers have done little more than stutter.

As for the four initial personnel above, they are the asset sales.

Rangers’ heels are dug in and none of them will leave for anything below their market value.

But if all of these rumours come to pass, Jack Butland could be joined by another 9 major exits from Rangers this summer.
