Rangers’ summer transfer activity is heating up like the weather and with two signings confirmed and more on the way, it’s hectic.
Ibrox Noise brings you a blow-by-blow appraisal of all the stories doing the rounds right now.
James Penrice:
Arriving from AEK according to various sources, the 27-yo left back will put pen to paper on a deal to make him understudy to Tuur Rommens. Or perhaps more, depending on Derek McInnes’ plans for the season. A good Rangers man again, he fits the Scottish Rangers core.

Ivor Pandur:
The 26-year-old Croatia stopper (he’s at the WC but isn’t capped yet) is set to join on an apparent swap deal with Jack Butland off in the other direction. A figure of £6M has been banded about, which may be the fee for him alongside Butland. Butland’s market value isn’t terribly high now, and the Croat is reportedly to be Rangers’ new first choice.
Vaclav Cerny:

And yes this one has popped up of late, the notion that the Czech ex-Ibrox winger is a target for a return. We’re not aware of him being unhappy in Turkey with Besiktas, but his name has popped up as a potential new RW. Skov Olsen was a dismal fail but Rangers fans ended up loving the Czech.
Cammy Devlin:
Not confirmed yet but the same source behind Penrice and Pandur has Devlin signed on. We await news of that story with the out-of-contract Hearts man weighing up his options.

Lewis Ferguson:
Enough said really, Ferguson is a hot topic right now and everyone, including himself, seems to want him to join Rangers.

Oskar Fallenius:
Djurgårdens IF winger, Fallenius is kinda hot property at 24 but hasn’t hit the levels required levels for his national side. No call ups yet. This one is probably agent talk.
Jack Butland:
Off to Hull, apparently, as that deal for Pandur. Butland is back at Auchenhowie for now. We’ll see if Rangers’ ex-England goalie is headed back off down south.
Nicolas Raskin:
Real Betis are the latest to be linked alongside Atalanta and we suppose we’ll include Bologna. Hull City have also bid a rejected £14M attempt. There’s a growing queue for the Belgian and the sooner a deal is done there the better.
There will be plenty more. Stay tuned.
