As widely reported, Atalanta will have competition for Nico Raskin’s signature after the Belgian international shone on his World Cup debut. Rangers’ wantaway midfielder has been eager to secure his departure to a top five European club for some considerable time now and is very interested in Atalanta’s current attention on him.
Atalanta Are Not Alone
However, they are not the only team that are after Raskin, with several sides in Europe being alerted to his availability and his performance in the World Cup showcase that is the purpose built phase of football’s greatest competition. Indeed, as we have discussed before, it is a gigantic shop window for players who are either free agents or want a move from their current club. He is only going to entertain submissions that come from top five European clubs. We very much doubt that he would be interested in the likes of Holland or Portugal. Even although both leagues are very strong.
