It’s safe to say things aren’t ideal at Ibrox right now, and an Ibrox Noise user summed it up perfectly.

A gentleman named Thomas McLeod, a good Rangers man, commented about Danny Rohl after the Hearts loss:

“See when rangers lost to hearts rohl didn’t look like a guy who’d lost a league. if that was walter Smith he’d have thunder in his eyes”

Has it ever been more adroitly put than that?

Danny Rohl expressed ‘disappointment’ in the result, and even at his pre-Old Firm presser, didn’t look especially angry.

Compare that with a Walter, a Big Eck, an Advocaat, or a Steven Gerrard.

Instead of looking ‘disappointed’ they looked fuming. Embarrassed. Angry. With rage in their eyes as the Rangers men they were losing like this.

Rohl looked like a sap. A ‘disappointed’ sap to match Captain Disappointed.

Yes, we’re calling it out willingly, and we’re not hiding behind the nonsense that most of the fans are right now. Rohl’s approval rating has absurdly risen in the past few days, from 71% post-Hearts to around 80% as of the past 24 hours.

Despite the evidence screaming at fans, the vast vast majority ‘trust in Danny’, ‘I owe it all to Danny’, ‘Danny is the Greatest’ and ‘look where we were before Danny’.

The same tired cliches. But que sera.

If these fans don’t want thunder in their managers’ eyes, if they want a wet leader with no spine and no graft, knock themselves out.

If you just want a nice guy who’s a bit disappointed, then you get the Rangers you deserve.

Third. Nowhere.
