Rangers do not have their troubles to seek right now, and that is very much the case as with Danny Rohl. Rangers’ manager has recently come under a little fire for some terrible results in the split, which have put Rangers out of contention for the title. While mathematically it is still possible, the chances are extremely remote.

Heart and Hand Call Out Rohl after Rangers out of contention
However, leading fan site Heart and Hand launched a blistering attack at Danny Rohl after questioning significantly something the manager said post match at Tynecastle.
If you lose two games all season then lose two out of two immediately after the split when the finishing line is in sight, it’s mentality. https://t.co/l5oWO7v3YO

Speaking to the press after the defeat, Rohl denied that this had anything to do with mentality in this result. He said it was purely a football issue.
Consequently, Heart and Hand attacked this comment and said that going from two losses all season in league and being second to then blowing the chance to win the league by losing two in a row is clearly mentality.
Rangers out of contention
The reality is, of course, that Heart and Hand are partly correct. The players completely lack the mentality of champions.
That is 100% clear, and Heart and Hand are correct to call that out.
Alas, Danny Rohl also lacks the same mentality of champions. He is miles off it to win a title, as are the players that he has signed.
The problem is that Rohl, like every other manager, has signed no players whatsoever who have actually won anything.
The Only Winners In The Squad
The three players that he has who have won titles are Rangers’ own James Tavernier, who of course won 55, Chucky, who of course won the title with Sturm Graz in Austria, and last but not least, Nasser Djiga, who won plenty of trophies with Red Star Belgrade.
But that is it. That is all the champions and champion mentality that Rangers have.
Consequently, the complete lack of winners in this squad and winners in management is a big reason as well.
Scottish Core Debate Continues
Ally McCoist, of course, and Kris Boyd have both been very, very vocal about the Scottishness of the team. That does not help Rangers out of contention, to say the least.
But the simple fact is that when you do not have champions, you do not have champion mentality in the squad or in management, it is very hard to get over the line.
These are essentially all rookies. They are newbies, and they do not know how to win leagues.
And Heart and Hand are calling Rohl out for denying that.
