Rangers fans have delivered a remarkable verdict on Danny Rohl after the latest Ibrox Noise poll produced a result that many supporters simply did not expect. In the wake of the Parkhead collapse and the dreadful split form, plenty expected the Rangers support to turn decisively against the German. Instead, the current feeling around Ibrox appears far more divided than many first believed. Indeed, the latest Rangers manager poll has now shown a clear majority backing Rohl to continue into next season.
Fans Deliver Unexpected Verdict
The numbers themselves are stark. Out of more than 560 votes at the time of writing, 71% selected the option confirming they were happy for Rohl to remain in charge. Only 29% wanted a different direction.
That represents a dramatic swing in mood.
Previously, Ibrox Noise had carried out polling after the Celtic defeat which suggested fan fury had reached boiling point. However, emotions clearly settle quickly in football. Moreover, supporters often dislike endless managerial changes even when results collapse.
Consequently, many Rangers fans now appear prepared to give the manager another opportunity.

Summer Recruitment Must Improve
Rangers cannot afford another weak transfer window.
January delivered mixed results at best. While Tuur Rommens impressed supporters quickly, other additions failed badly to convince. Andreas Skov Olsen struggled enormously while other expensive arrivals failed to justify their fees.
As a result, recruitment chief Dan Purdy now faces huge scrutiny from the Ibrox support.
Moreover, Rangers do not possess unlimited funds. The expected £16M share issue may help strengthen the squad. However, Financial Fair Play rules still restrict spending power significantly.
Therefore, Rangers must recruit smarter this summer.
The club needs leaders. The squad needs pace, physicality and quality across the pitch. Above all else, Rangers need players capable of handling pressure at Ibrox every single week. Rangers need authority and leadership throughout the squad.

If Rohl starts strongly, supporters will rally behind him quickly. However, another poor split campaign or another humiliating European showing will destroy goodwill immediately. Another poor European showing would increase pressure instantly.
