Ibrox Noise understands that while Tottenham Hotspur are open to the sale of Mikey Moore, Roberto De Zerbi will still appraise the Rangers loanee over the course of the summer. Mikey Moore to Rangers could be back on.

While there have been some social media fires about Moore being on holiday with Bailey Rice and Mason Munn, the winger’s future is dependent on the impression he makes on De Zerbi this summer.

Statements

Moore’s own statements hinted he saw his own future at Tottenham, where he admitted his prospects are down to the manager, but Ibrox Noise understands if a big offer arrives for Moore, De Zerbi wouldn’t stand in his way.

It is not clear if RDZ would be willing to loan the boy out again, but it’s possible.

The problem Moore has is he enjoyed his time in Govan a tonne. He made a lot of friends north of the border, but Rangers can’t afford him outright.

Price Tag

Spurs would be looking at upwards of £20M+ for his services, and that’s money Rangers can’t justify on one player.

There’s a reason the Scottish transfer record remains at £12M to this day. Only two players came close to that fee since then.

The only way Rangers would be reacquiring Moore is on loan. That’s unless Spurs decide to do him and Rangers a big favour with a huge price markdown.

Other clubs are interested in Moore, with West Ham credited before their relegation. And his loan spell certainly has eyeballs on his progress.

Tottenham hold all the cards here. Moore just has to put the graft in training this summer and see what his new manager wants to do.

It is clear that Rangers fans would love to have Moore back. And Moore himself wouldn’t be unhappy with a return either.

But Mikey Moore to Rangers is on De Zerbi now.
