But of course, Hearts – the club that made the player Rangers now have.

88 goals. 29 assists. This is marquee level in the Scottish Premiership. Last season was his worst due to injury and even then it was still 26 in 34. Nothing to sniff at.
Lawrence Shankland has simply gotten better and better every single season and Rangers are getting peak Shankland.
And you know what else?
Even his one career ‘fail’ in Holland with Beerschot still yielded 9 goals and assists in 28. Not absolutely horrible.
In short, Rangers are getting a truly experienced, top-level striker who is now truly ready to level up and be the striker and forward he’s been destined for all his career. Lawrence Shankland’s career statistics will stun Rangers fans.
