It’s time to talk about Rangers men Derek McInnes, Lawrence Shankland and Hearts winning the SPL

It’s probably time to properly talk about Hearts winning the SPL. This is an unprecedented entry in the history of the modern age and certainly in the existence of Ibrox Noise to discuss another team in terms of winning the title that isn’t called Celtic. In an astonishing turn of events this season, Tony Bloom and his revolution in Gorgie has led to an astonishing sense of a real title push for a team never before fancied in the modern age to win anything like a title in Scotland.

Derek McInnes Has Changed Everything

Derek McInnes’s arrival in Tynecastle, of course, has made all the difference and a few key signings last summer certainly helped as well. The simple fact is we are 100% behind the former Rangers midfielder, and of course Rangers man himself in McInnes to secure the title. Not only are the obvious reasons of our utter detestable dislike of Celtic coming to the fore and we would rather not they win any league whatsoever, but Hearts absolutely deserve it.

They are filled with Rangers men. They have been outstanding this season and it would be an absolute tragedy if Celtic pipped them to the post.

The Fixtures Could Decide Everything

Of course, looking at the fixtures, it does slightly favour Hearts. Hearts have Falkirk as their next match. Celtic face Motherwell and Motherwell have been an absolute bogey team for all the top three this season.

Rangers, of course, were dismally beaten by them two matches ago and Hearts lost two points to them. Celtic will know going to their patch that that is a big tough one, which could win or lose them the title. At the very least, it could lose them it.

Hearts that day will be praying that they can put in enough against Falkirk to secure the title because, of course, Celtic have enough momentum now that they are a major challenge. But, of course, Motherwell are the bogey team, and they have a huge chance to win Hearts the league, assuming Hearts do the job themselves.

Motherwell Could Be The Deciding Factor

In simple terms, Celtic travel to Fir Park to where so many teams have struggled. Motherwell have been such a bogey team for everybody this season, and probably deserve to be in third place.

They have been better than Rangers, but at key moments have just fallen a bit short. They have been an outstanding side and deserve all the accolades that have come their way this season.

Meanwhile, Hearts host Falkirk and will very much be hoping that results favour them that day and they secure that incredible title that they utterly deserve.

Ibrox Noise Wants Hearts To Do It

It would be an absolute tragedy for Celtic to win this league now after everything that Hearts have put into it. We will very much be crossing our fingers for Derek McInnes, we’ll be crossing our fingers for Lawrence Shankland, and there are one or two others in the Hearts camp who are of a Rangers persuasion.

Outside of allegiances, they’re just a darn good football team and completely deserve to win the league.

Ibrox Noise will be throwing our full weight behind Hearts to win the title. Now, this isn’t just an anti Celtic thing. Of course, we don’t want Celtic to win, but honestly, Rangers didn’t deserve it anyway.

This is not to say we would ever have supported Hearts against Rangers, but at the same time, Hearts deserve everything that they get. They deserve to win the league and they deserve the glory that comes with that.

So we will very much cross our fingers and hope for the best for Derek McInnes and his team, that Lawrence Shankland becomes a title winning captain with Hearts winning the SPL.
