It is only a matter of time now before Danny, Danny GTF starts to kick in among Rangers fans. If ever a Rangers manager has gone from hero to zero, it would be now. Danny Rohl, only a few weeks ago, was being lauded, because of course Ibrox Noise disagreed with this and never lauded him at all, but the wider fan base definitely did. He was lauded as a hero, as the messiah, as someone who had turned around a 11 point gap and turned it into Rangers being top of the table. Of course, this is complete fabrication. It was never true in the first place, and Ibrox Noise has reported that so many times.
Groundhog Day at Rangers
Nevertheless, if ever Rohl has gone into toxic territory, if ever a manager has seen himself go from lauded as a saint to being an absolute toxic individual who fans want rid of, it is Danny Rohl. Good Lord.
Of course, Ibrox Noise saw all of this coming. We do not mean to say we told you so, but, well, we did. Ibrox Noise saw this coming with Russell Martin. We saw this coming with Danny Rohl. And with every bad appointment that the club makes, we will get this kind of outcome.
It is literally like Groundhog Day.
Rohl is now full on public enemy number one. We knew that would be the case going into the split. We reported to you about how Rohl’s record against the top six was notably worse than Hearts’. And a little worse than Celtic’s.
Both clubs’ records, the Old Firm clubs’ records in the top six, were not the best, but Rohl’s was definitely the worst, and he had choked many times in the big matches.

Consequently, we told you that we were not going to win the league. We told you that Hearts would. Clearly Rangers have not won the league and are miles off it.
But even Ibrox Noise could not have predicted the colossal meltdown that we have seen in the dressing room. Nor from the manager during these split fixtures.
It is the first time in a long time that Rangers have lost four matches in a row in the league. In fact, it was put out there last night that it is early 80s. Either way, it is an astonishing turn of events.
Rohl has gone from this vaunted, idyllic hero who could do no wrong to now a completely hated pariah who fans want to see the back of as soon as possible.
The Tavernier Incident
The problem is, of course, that the result at Parkhead (initially) swung it completely. Fans had started getting back on board a little bit with him even after that. But the Tavernier incident has sealed it completely.
The management there was absolutely terrible and among the worst that we have seen. Russell Martin and Nico Raskin, of course, was the last time that there was a toxic coming together. In that case, of course, Raskin managed to make the manager look like the villain.
Of course, in reality, it was not the case. It was actually reported a very different way to what the reality was, but we are not going to go there.
In this case, at the moment, all we have to go on is Danny Rohl’s word regarding the Tavernier incident. But picking on Tavernier and making an issue of Tavernier when Tavernier is just about to leave was probably the final nail in Rohl’s coffin.
A Lame Duck Manager
This is a complete lame duck manager who is now despised by the majority of fans, even if some will still back him because, quite frankly, some would still back the devil if he was Rangers manager. They would even back Jimmy Savile, let’s face it.
But at the end of the day, this has gone so terribly toxic and the owners have to get rid of From hero to zero Rohl now.
