Danny Rohl’s full disconnect from Rangers fans was completed entirely on Wednesday. This was after comments he made at Rangers’ latest press conference.
On the eve of Rangers’ now dead rubber against Hibernian at Ibrox, Rohl expressed how important it was to secure three points in both of the last two matches. This obviously did not go down too well with many fans. They observed that that importance was completely moot and absolutely preposterous.
Put simply, the important time to collect maximum points in matches has already been and gone and been failed miserably.
Complete Disconnect
Rohl’s disconnect from the fans is now complete. Even if there are still many supporters backing him and want him to be given, quote unquote, ‘a full season’.
No thank you from Ibrox Noise on that one. But nevertheless, the majority now are very much anti Rohl. And they do not want to see him given further leeway to do yet more damage to Rangers FC.
But that comment really summed up precisely where he is.
If we overlook the smug face, the smirk and the general malaise surrounding him, the simple fact that he tried to impress importance on two complete dead rubber matches is just how embarrassing he has become.
Dead Man Walking
He is an absolute dead man walking.
Even although he says the board back him, the fans now do not.
He is continuing to peddle the same lines. And he has turned completely into the German Russell Martin in all ways, shape and forms.
To lose three in a row in the split? And kill any title hopes stone dead while only being able to finish third is appalling.
Groundhog Day
The fans defending that and wanting him to be given a full season clearly have lower standards than the majority.
It is a tiresome repeating loop, a groundhog day when it comes to certain sections of the Rangers fanbase.
But nevertheless, anyone with any sense can tell that Danny Rohl’s full disconnect shows he is not up to it.
