Danny Rohl claims he will win Rangers titles ‘for years to come’

Ibrox boss Danny Rohl explained at his precent presser that he intends to remain at Rangers ‘for years to come’ and ‘to win titles’.

He portrayed himself as the right man going forward, and that the owners and board support him.

Alas he’s overlooked one slight issue.

He’s just blown a league having had the golden chance to win it.

Rangers were at one point a single point behind Hearts.

Very briefly the team topped the table.

But going into the Split just 3 points separated the top 3.

That was a league-winning position and Rohl got everything wrong against Motherwell then again against Hearts.

He lost Rangers’ big two matches in a row and cost the title.

How can we trust him to win titles when he blows the biggest chance since 55 to win 56?

Danny Rohl had a glorious chance to actually win the league and completely wrecked it. Not the players. Not the staff. But him.

His decisions were dire in both matches and cost the league. Or at least, a real fist at it.

Ibrox Noise explained how poor Rohl’s record was against the top 6. The fans just ignored us of course.

We explained that both Martin O’Neill and Derek McInnes were stronger against the top six than Rohl was. A lot stronger in McInnes’ case. We presented the stats.

That was also ignored.

And after two losses in the Split already, we’re sure Rohlites are finding other ways to ignore what’s plain in the face.

The reality is he blew a chance to actually challenge for the title, and that isn’t good enough.

He completely flubbed his own lines and then threw the players under the bus for good measure.

Do we trust Rohl to bring us league titles?

We wouldn’t trust him to bring us dinner.
