In what should be a fantastic boost for Rangers fans, one star player has more or less declared his love for the club. Of course, any Rangers player doing so might just be playing to the galleries, but when it is a player who already confirmed his whole family are Rangers fans, you can start to believe what he said. This testimony also takes on further gravity when the player in question is a loan and may be considering a potentially permanent stay. Mikey Moore’s Growing Affection…
**Mikey Moore’s Growing Affection**
Yes, the well known Tottenham Hotspur documentary on Mikey Moore, fact filing his time at Rangers and promoting what an impressive spell he has had, has created a stir. It has seen the young England under 21 international more or less commit himself to Rangers. That is to say there is nothing in writing or paper yet, and not even a gentleman’s agreement, but he has confirmed that he loves the club. Effectively, he would love to stay.
Rohl has confirmed, for his part, that he is trying to put the wheels in motion regarding securing the permanent services of Mikey Moore. At the very least, he wishes to extend the loan.
**Tottenham Uncertainty and Opportunity**
We have discussed this a few times on Ibrox Noise, the logistical problems at Tottenham right now. With the likelihood that they will go down, and the mess that the Tottenham Hotspur side are in, Mikey cannot make any guarantees about where he will be playing next season.
We have spoken about that before, but in this much hyped documentary on YouTube, he has completely sold himself on the possibility of staying in Glasgow. He loves the club. He has advocated completely that he has fallen for Rangers in every single way. Of course, his family being blue noses does help.
He is comfortable here, he is happy here, and there is no question that if a deal can be done, Mikey Moore’s preference would almost certainly be to stay. After all, where else is he going to get Champions League football in England?

Spurs fans themselves are delighted with how he is doing. They are thrilled with how Rangers have handled him and how well he has performed. Subsequently, while they tentatively want him to return, they also want to see him do well. They know their own club is not the place right now for a young player to develop.
**From Slow Start to Key Man**
He is, after all, still only 18. Moore did have a very slow start to life at Rangers. It was not until around January or February 2026 that he started to find consistency and prove what a player he is.
This was a classic case of a young player taking time to settle in a new environment. After all, the English Premier League is one thing. But the level that Moore had played at before is another prospect entirely.
Moore, of course, had not played that many matches in the Premier League with Spurs. Most of his action came with the youth sides. Rangers is a completely different ball game to that, and it took him time to cope with the pressure.
Analysis
Every run and touch was analysed, and at first, he was not thriving under that pressure. That, of course, has changed. He has grown and become a pivotal part of the machine.
Ally McCoist, Rangers legend and former manager, has stated how Rangers should and must try to keep Moore, even if only for six further months. The reality is, the player wants to stay. Mikey Moore’s growing affection is real. He loves his time at Rangers, but logistically, we do not know if it is possible. However, for his part, he has more or less affirmed that he would like to remain in Glasgow, with Rangers fans backing a move and some even arguing he is worth £15M, while wider coverage such as national reports continues to note his growing impact.
