Following a burst recently of new injuries, Rangers can report a nearly 100% clean bill of health. Connor Barron and Derek Cornelius close in on imminent returns.

Barron
Barron in particular is a possible bet to be involved in the weekend’s league cup visit of Celtic. Meanwhile Cornelius is fractionally behind him, both are nearly entirely ready to feature again.
It’s a slightly bitter-sweet time of the season to get everyone fit again, given the league has probably slipped out of our grasp.
But at the same time, the Split is upon us within only a few weeks and could well be where the title is won and lost. And almost certainly will be.
As such, Rangers going into this period with the return of Barron and Cornelius is a major fillip to a slim chance of securing 56 this term.
Rangers have most definitely suffered a less intense injury blight this season, but it has still been there nevertheless, and now the whole squad is effectively fit and available it’s a welcome change.
Problem free

The only issue now is match fitness and of course Barron and Cornelius are a mile behind on that one.

But that can only come with minutes.

Either way, it’s good to have all resources available again.
