Rangers have completely and silently fixed major Ibrox squad problem

If one other thing does not stand out lately for Rangers, it is the complete silence regarding Rangers injuries crisis. Every winter, Rangers have had an absolute injury abomination since 2022. Clearly we all remember the chaos that began in 2022 for Gio. Players were dropping like flies. This was particularly true at the back.

His replacement, Clement, and Beale also suffered the same problem. As can be seen it happened around the same time. Clement even talked about the cryo unit as a solution. It was meant to fix this longstanding issue.

Danny Rohl then went through it himself. This happened around November and December.

Curiously, in the last couple of months, January and February, the problem has vanished. It is almost 100% gone.

A Sudden Change

There are a few players missing. It is usually one or two. However, no one missing would normally play.

The only big absences right now are Derek Cornelius and Connor Barron. We believe the Canadian would strengthen the defence considerably. Aside from those two, no major player is unavailable.

This is a very interesting turn of events. No one is talking about it. Until now, even Ibrox Noise stayed silent.

The problem had been an epidemic in autumn and winter. Danny Rohl even discussed it. That makes its absence now very stark.

What Has Changed

What has changed at the present time and removed most of Rangers’ injury issues?

Rohl suggested there were one or two knocks before Fir Park. There were also some after the previous match. However, nothing kept anyone out of the team.

No one has been forced off the bench. No one has been sidelined.

All things considered there are no major injuries. The only exceptions are the Canadian defender and Barron.

Comparing Rivals

Fundamentally this will clearly help Rangers. Celtic and Hearts do not have this luxury.

Both are hamstrung. Each is missing two key players.

For Hearts, it is Cammy Devlin and Lawrence Shankland. For Celtic, it is Jota and Carter Vickers.

Because Rangers have no equivalent absences. Cornelius and Barron weren’t integral.

We cannot say Cornelius is a massive loss yet. He had not fully established himself. Even so, Ibrox Noise still believes he would strengthen the defence alongside Djiga.

A Positive Shift

Overall, the injury problems are not there right now. Although this may be true, this is an improvement. It is a positive development.

But the question remains. Why is this happening.

We cannot answer that. Has something changed medically or has diet improved. Has lifestyle shifted. Somehow the injury crisis has been mostly eliminated.

We cannot possibly comment why.

All we know is this. Rangers have few to no injuries. Right now, that makes a lovely change to Rangers injuries.
