Rangers close in on new CEO with new odds released

Jim Gillespie is odds-on to become the next CEO of Rangers, according to Casino Beats.

Following the sacking of Patrick Stewart, the St Mirren vice chairman is 4/6 to become the chief executive at Ibrox.

Trailing Gillespie in the betting is current Aberdeen CEO Alan Burrows at 4/1, whilst Hearts exec Andrew McKinlay is next at 11/2.  

Craig Mather is 8/1 to return to the role he reprised in 2013, whilst current Rangers board member Fraser Thornton is 12/1 ahead of Gers chairman Andrew Cavenagh at 20/1.
