Rangers face a defining weekend and every supporter feels it. Tynecastle is never easy and Hearts already believe this could be their year. Celtic are wobbling and Aberdeen head to Parkhead with zero fear. So this round of fixtures is no ordinary weekend. It is massive. If Rangers get it wrong the damage could be real. Ibrox Noise made that clear when looking at the tension building over this fixture. Rangers Hearts title race now has a pulse again. But only if we show up.

Tynecastle pressure returns

We have seen this all before. Derek McInnes’ Hearts know how to hurt us. They press hard and believe in themselves. They are well set up. That is why Rangers cannot coast into this. We must be sharp. Already this season they have exposed our weaknesses. Ibrox Noise warned they’d punish any drop-off. And they will.

So we need control. From the first whistle. Midfield must set the tone. Defence must clear danger. No panic. No slack passes. If we go long go early and commit to it. Tynecastle loves chaos and if we give them a sniff they will take the whole plate. But this also presents a chance. Win here and we make a statement. Ibrox Noise already called it — this could be one of our biggest away wins in years. We just need to do it.

Celtic watch from the sidelines

While we fight in Edinburgh Celtic will be sweating in Glasgow. Aberdeen are no mugs. They are awkward and they sit deep. They love a counter. That is the last thing Celtic need right now. Sports Mole previewed it and even neutrals sense Celtic are ripe for another fall.

Aberdeen have nothing to lose. That makes them dangerous. Celtic have everything to lose. That makes them tense. The Football Faithful nailed it — a Celtic slip changes everything. If we do our job it turns up the heat on them tenfold.

No margin left for error

This cannot be another nearly weekend. We are sick of false dawns. One step forward then two back. It ends here. If we win everything opens up again. Ladbrokes even hint the bookies smell a shift.

Fans are desperate to believe again. We want this team to show some real fight. Hearts are no joke. Celtic look broken. We are in the middle. One push either way and the whole picture changes. So let’s push forward.

Do it Rangers. Make this the weekend we turned the title race on its head.
