We at Ibrox Noise are more than a bit confused as to why Rangers social media account specifically the X account removed a tweet congratulating Nico Raskin. Belgium have made it to the World Cup in 2026 and Raskin is almost certain to be there but for some reason after posting a massive congratulations to the midfielder Rangers then removed that content completely. We are puzzled as to why Rangers remove Raskin post.

Rangers praise for Scotland

Rangers were very fervent in congratulating the Scottish fraternity on their achievement of getting to the World Cup such as Souter Barron and Kelly. But then Rangers immediately posted about Raskin only to remove it. This was a curiosity.

Possible reasons for the removal

Was the suspicion that this would be accused of being tone deaf given that it was ‘all about Scotland’. Or was this a curious error for some other reason. Because the tweet was not made in error. It was correct. Raskin will go to the World Cup. So will Belgium.

An unresolved oddity

So we are definitely puzzled as to why Rangers remove Raskin post. Maybe there is some mad conspiracy going on as to why Rangers did not want to congratulate Raskin after all. After having done so. Very puzzling indeed. We doubt that one will ever get revealed but nevertheless it is an oddity worth considering.
