Rangers manager Philippe Clement has confirmed his resignation status after being asked directly if he would quit.

Following a truly dreadful history making shock result against Queens Park, Rangers manager is under more pressure than he has ever been during his time in Ibrox and fan site 4lads directly questioned him on whether or not he would tender his resignation.

The answer was an emphatic, no followed apparently by more excuses from the Belgian who claimed there were good things to be taken from the defeat to the championship side.

It is safe to say this is probably the worst SPL Rangers team and manager in fairly recent to medium memory.

It is worse than Beale, worse than the Frenchman, and even manages to transcend the depravity to which Warburton and Pedro sank.

Is this the worst result in Rangers history?

It is definitely up there with Berwick but this team had £14 million to spend in the summer plus technically acquired £50 million worth of player last January too.

But Clement will not quit, he will not lose out on his £6 million plus pay off and in truth we probably wouldn’t really blame him for that.

There are very few people out there with enough money to be able to write off £6 million.

Clement clearly is not one of them.

So unless the board can magic out that small fortune to pay off this farcical manager Rangers’ descent into complete chaos will continue.
