As Ibrox Noise discussed in the last entry Rangers could have scope to signing a few players this January.

As we discussed, it’s all down to selling players and generating revenue in order to fund new additions or at least to find the capital for free agent wages.

And one of the most notable players who rangers seek to move on is Cyriel Dessers.

There’s been a bit of division among fans about the Nigerians merits, especially when Ibrox Noise discussed his desire to leave. We quoted his value as being what Rangers initially paid which was £4.5 million which then rose with add-ons to £6 million.

6 million was indeed what Rangers ended up paying for the Belgium born striker thanks to the initial fee plus the clauses and add-ons.

The price for him today would be the hope of making that same amount back; a number of sources and outlets have tried to quote him as being around €3 million with a number of rangers fans making jokes that rangers would be lucky to get £3 for him.

But his goal record at Ibrox is good, especially in Europe particularly in the Champions League and his assists at that level as well are impressive too.

He is one player who could net Rangers a few fair few quid because while he wants to leave his record at Ibrox has been good.

If Rangers can confirm a buyer then that could definitely earn the club some money for new additions.

He is probably the main player that Rangers can make some money out of.

Let’s hope we do.
