Former Rangers defender Craig Moore has confirmed that Croatian Niko Katic is highly unlikely to be returning to Rangers after announcing the club had rejected any notion of the player being of interest to them.

Former Ibrox favourite turned agent Moore confirmed recently that he has received no phone call pertaining to any interest in the now Bosnian international but did actively offer the player services to the Rangers board.

He received a no thank you response.

That appears to be the end of any potential interest in the former Govan favourite even though the ex-Ibrox hero would love to return.

Indeed, Katic has been quite clear that he would love to be a Rangers player again, but unfortunately the mutual desire is not there.

So that appears to be the end of that and Rangers former human cannonball is not coming back.
