As Ibrox Noise reported some weeks ago, Motherwell’s Lennon Miller is most definitely a Rangers target this January window even if his fee is out of Rangers reach at the moment.

And the big breaking story today as the Italian giants Udinese have had a firm figure rejected by the steelmen as they bid to sign the midfielder.

The Italian top flight team bed £2.5 million for the hot prospect which was batted away without consequence by motherwell.

As Ibrox Noise reported some weeks ago, the SPL side require around about £6,000,000+ whether that is based on initial fee or made up by add-ons.

18-year-old Miller is very much a coveted player and he will certainly set any side back much more than £2.5 million.

This does for now put him out of Rangers price range and unless anything changes before the summer probably this year‘s overall.

But we already knew this.

Rangers do not have fortunes and a player who will command an absolute minimum of £4 million upfront is not something Rangers are easily able to do.

It does look like Miller will be yet another Scottish player that slipped out of Rangers’ grasp and ended up in Italy.
