Rangers fans are now exasperated with the club’s recent results, despite 5 wins of 7 – the scathing loss in Paisley to St Mirren has taken disgruntlement to a new level and fans’ reaction to the dropping of another 3 points tells a story.

And specifically, that the vast majority are most definitely fed up with Bungling Butland, who after a sensational first 6 months at Ibrox, fell well below par around March and has only worsened this season.

And supporters as a whole would most definitely like to see deputy Liam Kelly given a chance to prove himself, given Butland can’t.

In an Ibrox Noise poll, 91% of Rangers fans asked want to see the Scotland goalkeeper given his shot between the sticks, and only 9% would stick with Butland.

One fan said:

“No. Butland is nowhere near good enough (and I’ve said this for a while now), but he is still better than Kelly.”

We think he means his career, because on current ability, Ibrox Noise would near-choose the hapless Jon McLaughlin over the guy between the sticks at present.

Still, all about opinions…
