Ibrox Noise was clearly fed the same duff info everyone else in Rangers’ circles was last summer when it came to transfers from Ibrox, with our sources reporting to us £2.5M for Connor Goldson, £1.5M for Todd Cantwell, £3M for Sam Lammers, £300,00 for Scott Wright and £350,000 for Robby McCrorie among others.
That the board yesterday confirmed at the AGM a grand total of £810,000 received for ALL transfers last summer really is among the most dire business conducted in the history of Rangers Football Club.
That if we average it out, no player earned Rangers more than around £150,000 despite some red top press alleging that Todd Cantwell brought in £600,000.
That Rangers only earned less than £1M from all summer sales is truly some of the most shocking revelations we’ve heard from our club and we’re slightly lost for words about it, in truth.
It does verge on Rangers paying the buying clubs to take our high-paid assets, and furthermore all these clubs getting asset players for borderline free.
If ever there was any doubt about how badly Rangers are run, and how unfit for purpose the current board actually is, not to mention how abysmal the trading model is, not that there was any doubt, there surely isn’t now.
This was a shocker, that neither Ibrox Noise nor any other Rangers media sources saw coming, that our revenue was considerably below £1M.
Despite all this, the board tells us we’re sustainable.
Well at least they had something positive for us…
I honestly think now other clubs know that we’re skint and will take anything for our best players. So the other clubs just low ball us for our best players now as they know we’re run by a rudderless and incompetent “leadership” if you can call it that lol.
