After a post-Old Firm reaction poll in which 66% of Rangers fans asked wanted Philippe Clement gone, Ibrox Noise elected for a ‘dust settled’ poll again, some 3 days later.

Did the supporters still want Clement gone or have they changed their mind?

Well it will come as little surprise that having offered that 66% rejection of Clement 3 days ago, with around 2,000 votes being cast, Rangers fans have now changed their mind.

Of 1,500 current votes and counting, 75% of those polled now think Philippe Clement is the right man to lead the club forward, with just 25% of those asked thinking he isn’t.

It is true that post-match reactions are emotional, and dust does settle, but we’re not sure what else really has changed.

The main one seems to be board-focused rage, where Chairman John Bennett in particular is getting it thick and taking 99% of the frustrations. Sack the board is a common phrase right now.

But Ibrox Noise is far from convinced by Clement.

For us he’s entered Beale and Pedro territory completely, and is entirely out of his depth.

We feel Rangers fans for the majority have become Excuses FC, just like the manager, looking for reasons to justify being rubbish, ‘give them time ffs’ being the favourite. ‘There’s no money’ is another despite us being fourth presently, not just second.

But que sera, we always report the facts on Ibrox Noise even if we disagree with a poll or an outcome, and the majority of fans believe in Clement.

We don’t expect to be proven wrong, but crazier things have happened.
