Rangers fans are today in favour of removing ‘manager’ Philippe Clement after the latest dismal Old Firm showing from an Ibrox side completely mismanaged by yet another charlatan who doesn’t understand what it is to manage this club.

In a simple post-Old Firm poll, 73% agreed (at last) with Ibrox Noise that Clement is the wrong man, with 1,200 votes (and most definitely counting) confirming he’s the wrong man to lead Rangers forward. Only 27% think he still is.

From the fifth minute, after some bright early pressing from Rangers at Parkhead, it became abundantly clear that Clement had set up the same appalling tactics which failed v Benfica at Ibrox last season – a high, risky defensive line which could be cut apart on demand.

And it was indeed done so, as Celtic probed with ease, and nailed 2 goals (arguably 3) thanks to Clement’s refusal to play his men deeper.

He’s signed Goldson mark 2 in Robin Propper, who had a stinker, who was as out of his depth as Goldson was – a non-physical defender who was a rabbit in headlights and making numerous mistakes.

He also (unfairly) started him in from the cold with his having been injured for weeks, in the latest absurd call from a boss who clearly does not know how to manage Rangers, as we fall an abysmal 5 points behind after 4 matches.

Fans have had enough.

If this had been a well-fought match that we lost ‘just’ then fair play, and we can hold our hands up. It does happen.

But this was another abysmal failure from a manager who needs to go.

Who replaces him?

Well, thank you Rangers board for giving him a new deal some weeks ago which makes it more expensive to deliver the P45.
