The latest Rangers updates from Copland Road as Ibrox work continues…

Ibrox Noise is offline for one day and all hell breaks loose! Yes, we’re back, and bringing you all the news from Govan, and for our first piece today we’re being literal and bringing you the latest from actual Ibrox and the Copland work.

So there’s been a few ‘non-deliberate’ leaks kicking about, and we can confirm the work is… not exactly heading forward at breakneck speed.

As of writing the seats are slowly being restored to CR1-5 but it’s hardly looking that impressive. The concrete is mostly laid and ready but we have to admit, the lack of steel on display (despite claims that third batch arrived) is slightly curious.

We’re not construction experts, we’re not engineers, but the picture from inside the stadium isn’t an obviously awful lot more progressed than a month ago to our layman eyes.

The deadline was suggested as the end of next month – all we can do is hope that the latest content is being viewed by layman eyes like ours and it really is going to make that deadline.

From what we see, it doesn’t seem that close, but we’re far from experts.

Judge for yourselves?
