A bitter row has broken out between ‘Rangers’ playmaker Ianis Hagi and manager Philippe Clement after the Romanian chose to call Rangers’ boss out as a liar.

Add to this his old man slaughtering the club for their ‘horrendous’ treatment of the ex-Genk man and the whole thing has become deeply sordid indeed.

On social media Hagi jnr decided to claim he has never asked to leave Rangers, directly contradicting Philippe Clement’s claim that that’s exactly what the Romanian and his agent requested.

This is yet another ‘rogue’ incident at Ibrox where a player deems himself better or above the club, and bigger than the manager.

Ibrox Noise regulars will be well aware this fan group is not a massive backer of Clement – he has made tonnes of mistakes and he’s proven himself fundamentally stubborn and rather unlikable in the role of boss, frankly.

But he IS the boss.

And the boss’s word is final, and with Hagi and his father now launching a broadside at the club, and the manager, it’s probably not unfair to mention that the pair threatened to sue Ibrox Noise as well.

No, we’re not making this up (and yes, we foolishly backed off despite our information being sound).

Hagi and senior are a toxic pair who need to be removed from Rangers – Clement, for his faults, sussed this fast and has no interest in using the Romanian in Govan whatsoever.

Ibrox Noise was a massive, massive proponent and backer of the playmaker and his (former) talents, but then he and his father launched a suit against us as well, showing that he will attack even those who defend him.

Not ideal.

So on this one, we are inclined to take our manager’s side, for his faults, and there are many.

Hagi need to find his next club, as far away from Rangers as possible.
