It’s time for Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers to feel fan love after Ibrox Noise offered a poll as to overall supporter opinion of Rangers’ on-form hitman.

Following an electric start to the season, Ibrox Noise decided to poll our fanbase, our audience, to gauge what fan-feeling really was about our front man, and the results will delight the former Feyenoord striker.

Of around 2000 votes, an impressive 61% confirmed the forward had won them over, while 18% said they’d always rated him in the first place.

Only 21%, naturally the loudest and angriest ones in the comments (always the way) didn’t rate him.

We even gauged this further; one such detractor claimed ‘Dessers doesn’t do it’ against the big sides.

We pointed out: goal and assist v Betis, goal v Kyiv, 2x assist v PSV, goal v Celtic.

This was greeted by sarcasm and a pro-Lawrence Shankland reply.

The true fact is around 80% of the fanbase now support Dessers and give him the love he so desperately cherishes.

4 in 5 will do that, in fairness.
