Rangers will not be signing Yusuf Kabadayi after it was confirmed Augsburg have secured the winger, in news which is frankly a massive relief to Ibrox Noise.
It was announced a couple of hours ago by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that the German Bundesliga side have taken leave of their senses and spent €1M on the winger, which definitively puts to an end Rangers’ (misguided) interest in his services.
This was one Ibrox Noise didn’t want. At all.
A 20-year-old winger who had never played a minute of senior top-flight football in his entire career was now to be Rangers’ star man on the wings?
No, we weren’t too keen on this one, and either the player himself preferred Augsburg or Rangers pulled out or… no, we have no idea.
Either way Rangers won’t be signing Kabadayi and Ibrox Noise can breathe a sigh of relief.
Celtic-killer he isn’t.
