Ianis Hagi’s agent Giovanni Becali, who already came out with some whoppers about his client and his wedding, has now announced Rangers’ playmaker is not coming back to Ibrox, and indeed could skip preseason training with the club as well.

Speaking with his latest babbles about his illustriously-named Romanian charge, the Italian agent, who swore to put his hand in his pocket along with his brother Victor and help Hagi find a new club if necessary, has now suggested Hagi is ready to violate his contract and completely abandon the club.

He said:

“Ianis has one year left on his contract with Glasgow Rangers. I don’t know when he will or if he will show up (for pre-season training). He’s about to leave. Now, I’ve also heard, I’m also hearing left and right, that several teams would like him. In the sense that Rangers may want to get something back on him. Ianis does not have a small salary with them. We’ll see, it’s time. Only after the Euros did the borders of transfers open, so we will see what it is all about.”

As much as Ibrox Noise endorses the exit of the overhyped playmaker (whose time in Spain was excruciating and even Romania weren’t interested in using him too much in the summer), this would be a complete violation of the terms of his contract.

Even Sam Lammers came back to Ibrox and is training with the B team as he looks for a new team, and he frankly can’t stand us as much as we have no time for him either.

He is at least not violating his contract.

According to Becali, Hagi is ready to violate his Rangers deal and just find another club without getting Rangers’ consent.

As a Rangers player, Hagi 100% must check in this summer with the club – Ibrox Noise explained this before, that he absolutely would be returning, but only as a courtesy and check in in order to preserve the conditions of his contract.

Becali appears to be confirming the Romanian won’t do this, and will just abandon the club.

Sure, the relationship is finished here and Rangers don’t want him back, but he is still our player and he has to honour what he signed.

Well, this summer’s Rangers chaos continues yet more.
